Bottle gourd – also known as dudhi, lauki, or bottle gourd – is a versatile, mild-tasting vegetable with light green, tender flesh. It is particularly prized in Indian, African, and Asian cuisine. Its high water content makes it light, easily digestible, and ideal for a low-calorie diet.

It is excellent for curries, soups, dal, stir-fries, juices, halwa, koftas, and much more. Dudhi remains soft during cooking and absorbs spices exceptionally well.
